Terms of use

This site is run by All Things Chessed Inc, a nonprofit organization. “We” means that organization; “you” means whoever is using the site.

We connect people who want to help with people who need it. We do not employ, vet, supervise or guarantee anyone in that exchange, and we are not responsible for what happens between two people we introduced. Please read staying safe before meeting anyone.

We try hard to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it is free of errors or never goes down.

Do not use this site or our groups to:

• Solicit money for yourself or a cause we have not verified.
• Advertise, recruit, or sell anything.
• Harass anyone, or share someone's private details without their agreement.
• Submit anything false, or impersonate another person or organization.
• Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the site.

We can remove content and remove someone from the network. We would always rather talk to a person first.

A story, photo or message you send stays yours. By sending it you allow us to publish it on this site and in our newsletter — and only if you gave permission and a person approved it. Ask us to take it down and we will, without needing a reason.

Please only send photographs you took or have the right to share, and where anyone identifiable has agreed to appear.

Giving is covered by how we handle donations, including receipts and refunds.

The All Things Chessed name, and the words and design of this site, belong to us. Please do not use them to suggest we endorse something we do not. Sharing a link to any page here needs no permission at all — that is what it is for.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or harm arising from use of this site or from any connection made through it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
